Yes, mine has this buzz as well. It's dead silent if the pickups are centered, but anything else = zzzzzzzz. If you solve the issue, let me know.

It's just dried glue. I suppose you can say it's slightly sloppy, but I purposefully took pictures to make it look worse than it is. It's barely noticeable.

I hate to burst the positive review hype bubble of Talk Bass, but this thing is bad. See damage in the pictures: above the nut, on the fingerboard, and between the pickups. Literally unplayable.
