I truly love playing the bass too! For a while I was fixated on being in the spot light by playing lead guitar. So I suppressed my passion for the bass. I started playing the bass and fell in love with it... Out of all the instruments I know how to play, nothing can come close to the bass.

Finally got my bass back -- setup worked like a charm. My bass is sounding awesome, although I'm still getting an irritating distorted static sound at times; so I'm guessing it's my amp, but that I can get sorted out easy.

The notes buzz all the time, I'm pressing down hard on them. The strings are the same strings that came with the bass. It is raining down hard over here. Thanks for the advice -- I really appreciate it. Do I have to take it in to get the truss rod loosened or is it something I can try doing myself?
