does anyone have suggestions for ways to wire up a p-bass, with a jazz pick up in the bridge, other than the standard vol/vol/tone? some of you must have experimented with different push/pull configurations. if there's already a thread on this I couldn't find it!

Got my P-46 in the mail today (Ordered April 8). It's a Chrimbus miracle.

I'm actually planning a whole new build for these pickups too. Funny what a wait can bring about.

In the interest of keeping everyone in the loop, I just got a tracking number for the p-bass pickups I ordered April 8. Only problem is they are shipping to an old address. I had tried contacting Becky twice by email and twice by phone (back in April), but I guess my attempts at contact were...

looks like I'll be waiting at least 16 weeks. At least I've never heard anything bad about these pickups. Seems like they'll be worth the wait.

Still waiting from an order I placed on April 8. I don't ming waiting so much, but I sort of thought they'd be here by now.

I'm in the same sort-of boat and was thinking about buying some available pickups for my bass. On the bright side, saving the Lawrence pickups for later means I MUST buy another bass.

I ordered some fender re-issue pickups from my work (music store) in the meantime. I was building a bass and it's all ready to go. I honestly can't wait to get some pickups in it so I can finally play it. I'll probably try and sell the fender pups on ebay or something if these bill lawrence pups...

Just to give everyone some more info. I ordered a P46 on April 8. I sent two emails (regarding an incorrect shipping address), but didn't get a response, so I called last week and was told to call back this week. Tried calling today, but kept getting voicemail (which is full). Not complaining...

If dots make you sound better, I say use them. Anything that serves the music is what it's all about (for me)
