does anyone know of any other decent recording problems, all ive ever used was Audacity which is fine, dont get me wrong, i just want to try something else.

i got 2 gigs of ram, im just using my integrated sound card(i have an asus m2n SLi deluxe mobo) and im using audacity to record. im pretty positive its the integrated sound card, but who knows

ive just recently hooked up the direct out on my bass head to run to my sound card and all is well accept that when im recording and i listen to the finished result, the audio cuts out for a split second randomly throughout the recording like its hiccuping. so i dont know if thats a hardware...

yeah, ive got all the hardware set up correctly and its plugged into my mic in, im just not picking anything up on the computer, probably due to my noobishness and the fact that i may have a picky bass head who knows. but thanks for info provided bassmodder:)

alright, i have a gallien-krueger BP250 bass head with an XLR direct out output on the head, so ive got the xlr cable plugged in with a 1/4" jack on the input end and a 1/8" mic adapter on that so as to plug right into my sound cards line-in or mic port, but it just isnt working at all. im not...
