Hey man, yeah on second thought it seems to not sound so great in the effects loop, but I'll have to play with it more, too much gear!!!

I'm actually adding that in over the weekend. Heard nothing but good things about it on bass though. Tried signal compression the other week and after that I NEEDED IT.

RBI seems to give a good dirt to the signal. Basically Im going to be using it as an dirty effects pedal for 'heavier' songs than bypass it otherwise. The SVT3 preamp is good, seems to lack a little midrange balls which the RBI ads...

Hi, Would this be the correct order to run these components with Ampeg SVT 3 Pro? EFFECT LOOP SEND Sansamp RBI DBX 160X Rack effects EFFECT LOOP RETURN Than I still plug my wireless unit (or cable) into the main input of the Ampeg? Any help or suggestions would be cool! Cheers!

I've started running the RBI in the effects loop of my SVT3. Seems to work really well just dirtying up a bit, I will try Active on/off tonight and see if it affects the original tone I just had from my SVT3 which I was happy with also..

Im after a good rack mount chorus for bass, if it does other effects thats cool also. I mainly just need a good chorus sound (Duff McKagan'esk) and will probably bypass it when not needed. I hate pedals, want to just punch it in for songs that need it. Will run in the effects loop of SVT3...
