Using the Y-mode with the single output of the RBI, not currently using any x-over points. Using both channel’s outputs via a speakon cable to each cabinet. Just seems that since using the Crown I have to really dial back the Presence and Drive. Do you suggest using the x-over?. Thank you!

Hi,, it does respond to eq changes on the RBI, just have to dial back the Presence and Drive way more since using the Crown. I’m not using any x-over, just the Y-coupler function to daisy chain Channel 1 to Channel 2. Will do a factory reset just to be sure. Thanks for the reply.

Hey TB family, Just started using a Crown XLS 1002 with a Sans Amp RBI and 410 and 210 cab, using both channels in the stereo setting. It seems the high end is so present compared to when using an old QSC RMX power amp. Does anyone suggest using any of the Crown’s internal HPF/LPF/BP settings...

Wow, that’s cool. I’ve always wanted to try a Coda. The DGTC is great with the Stingray, just deciding if I need to bump to 18 volts. But that DGTC brings out some extra character in the Stingray. Was maybe considering a trade though. It’s a heavy Stingray, Classic 5 one of the few GC editions...

BTW, I love your videos!!

I think the preamp sounds great, but I just think mine would be better with 18 volts.

Hey thanks for the info. Just seems to ne that for mine it would really benefit from upgrading to 18 volt, but I really don;t want to route another battery box in this bass. Thanks again..

Hi, Has anyone installed a Dark Glass Tone Capsule in a stock EBMM Stingray 5 running at 9 volts?, opinions. I put one in my Stingray Classic 5 and I think it really needs 18 volts. Just wanted opinions before I research routing another battery box. Thanks all!!
