Yes, with both cables connected the light does come on when the pedal(s) are engaged.

Per part 1 ... I'm in! Got the Ultimate Drive and Dyna Compressor used from GC. Sanded down and used a hand label gun to mark the controls. These will be strapped down and tested this weekend during rehearsal.
