    In the pictures the amp's input power rating is marked as 125 W, yet the amp is supposed to output 500 W. Sounds like an impossible combination — or clever marketing?

    Does overdriving a SS amp use up any components, like a tube amp does with tubes?

    Back in the day I saw a certain Acoustic 126 combo let out smoke on three different occasions when pushed hard. I don't think the smoke got completely used up, as the thing never stopped working, but I am sure it wasn't good for the amp.

    Huh, new Mesa Subway pedal 40% under MSRP? I called a local store who was supposed to have Black Friday deals "too good to advertise", and the best they could do on any Mesa stuff was essentially "you pay no sales tax", meaning 7% off
