    Sansamp VT Deluxe Effects Loop

Nope! The effect loop is set after the vt circuit, which makes it usefull for delays and stuff, but pretty lame for distortion pedals.... But Mike Putnam here on the forum can mod the pedal to get the loop "pre-vt". He did it for me, works like a charm Cheers!

Guitar into SVT - Sample inside

I just came across a b25-b, but didn't get a chance to try it yet.... What would it sound like compare to a V4 or an SVT CHANNEL 2?? I reckon svt channel 2 is quite similar to a b-15's preamp, and since the b25-b is modeled after the B-18 which is quite similar to a B-15... See what I mean....

That would be definitely too hard..... Thanks for the input Jimmy, it makes me gas on the V4 even more. How does the master volumes ones sound compared to the early non m-v models? In this particular situation, I think the 810 cab has a huge impact on the tone, especially the bass response...

I get your point, but this is stoner rock, dude!! That's how it's got to be hahaha Guitar and bass haven't been processed yet, but I think you can definitely hear the bass, (especially in the 1K-3K range).

Lol, yeah for a minute I forgot I was on a bassist forum:ninja: The bass is homemade acrylic bass with Antiquities P+J pups, into a vt-bass into the same SVT (cranked about noon). A 60' tone bender mkIII is put between the bass and the vt for the fuzz parts. The mics were an Electro-Voice...

Guitar into SVT - Sample inside

We recorded a song with my band last sunday. We never used anything but Marshall amps on guitar, so this time, I figured "let's try something different". We're doing some pretty heavy stuff, but not metal though, so mesa's and Co. wouldn't do the trick. Fender and Vox are too muddy,..; long...

    '62 RI project - opinions?

If you want to go with custom colors, that would be either olympic white+tortoise or some daphne blue/surf green+mint. But the average 62 jazz bass was sunburst+tortoise.
