Yes sir. And yes, the design was based off of his Irwin bass. This is one of his first Modulus basses. Believed to be used around '85. I am super interested in the original poster's response of what year this was made/if he knew wether it was the first PL Mod or whatever other info. :bassist:

This bass was given to me a few years ago and I am wondering if you know exactly when it was built/played. Phil told me it was somewhere around 82-86 but wasn't positive, as he did not play this very long because it is very neck-heavy and poorly balanced. Any info would be great. Thanks!
