    Marcus Miller on his Sterling

I think he plays whatever he wants, especially now. He does play the Sire though.

    Marcus Miller on his Sterling

I saw him here in Houston last Sunday and it was great! The Sterling was indeed a lined fretless. The drummer was Charles Haynes.

Am I the only one who thinks these basses are junk?

Look closely at the string retainer. The G-string isn't tucked underneath it as it should be.

Am I the only one who thinks these basses are junk?

And here's little nugget from the Fender site: Invalid Link Removed Zoom in on that head-stock. It looks like the G-string doesn't need to be retained. ;-) I still love my Fenders...

Am I the only one who thinks these basses are junk?

Although I've never owned a Squier and never will, I see no problem with the OP. Even though the tone of his post would suggest Squire creates nothing but junk, I'm guessing most people would understand that it was written in a moment of frustration. If anything, I think it's healthy for many...

Am I the only one who thinks these basses are junk?

Am I the only one who thinks these basses are junk?

Who knew there were so many Squier fans?

    Basses with immediately identifiable sound...

The only one I can pick out with absolute certainty is the Stringray (or Sterling). I can also easily pick out a Jazz and/or Precision, I assume most of you can as well. I couldn't be 100% certain if it's a Fender or a clone though. There was a TV show in Holland years ago called "Wedden Dat"...

Assuming you haven't sold it yet, what's the serial number?

    Who made this preamp?

I recently purchased an old Ken Smith Burner from 1990. Overall it's in great shape considering its age. I'm currently in the process of refurbishing the whole thing but I'm a little stumped about the electronics. I don't believe they're stock (but I could be wrong). I'm not sure if the...
