I heard this kit compared to the ampeg pf-20 model on youtube here: and didn't think that the ampeg pf model had any of the same juice that the ampeg has. I thought the trinity sounded right on. I was just hoping to not have to put it together!

Thanks for the suggestion. I fooled with it for a little while, but regardless of the height, if it's not all the way to the treble side, it sounds muddy and undefined. It's like when I get 1/5 a turn away from the full treble side of the tone nob, it immediately sounds like someone put 2 thick...
