    Just finished the last 2 subs. system consists of 4 Jack 10's with 1" throat drivers, and 2 Jack 10's with the Piezo array. Subs include 2 Tuba 24's and 2 Tuba 36's. I use whichever sub makes sense for the space.

    8-string pickups

    I am in the planning stages of building an 8-string bass. Anyone out there have experience with pickups that cover the wide tonal range that the octave strings will produce? I am looking for a tone almost "piano-like". Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.
