    Mounting Hipshot Style A bridge

Eh.. It was easy enough. Got it in place. Only thing I'd have done a little different is to move it forward about 1/8th an inch to give me more room for setting intonation. Other than that, it's perfectly aligned.

    Mounting Hipshot Style A bridge

Did a search, but didn't find what I was looking for. Just got my Hipshot A today. Before I start digging in, I wanted to find out of there are any bits of information I would need to know prior to mounting it up. Things like the center of the bridge is a little offset or anything like that...

    Thank you Hartke

My Hartke Kickback 12 came today via FedEx. Opened the box, took it out of the plastic wrapper, three of the four protective corners were shattered and broken. Not only that, the fuse had somehow lodged itself in the cooling grill. Plugged the fuse back in place and it fired up just fine. Amp...

And I had definitly been looking at that amp. Little leary of it being 50 watts though. Can it cut through the drums and guitar should it ever need to be put up to the test?

Think I've decided on the Hartke Kickback 12... A little more than I wanted to spend, but sounds like a nice little amp.

Do you ever lose confidence and enjoyment in your playing?

Dont be afraid to take a break. Sometimes you have to get away from it. On the other hand. I find that if I buy a new guitar toy, that ALWAYS fires me back up. :D

Hope some one can help out there. I'm a "aspiring" guitarest. :D Decided I'd like to add a bass to my collection. Just picked one up. The bass will primarily be used for practice and for laying down some tracks as I progress with my guitar playing. I'm looking for a bass amp in the $300...

    Guitar player wanting bass information

I'm having a hard time there... I'm looking at two basses. 1) $150.00 Yamaha RBX260. Clear coat, no stain, no paint. GREAT SHAPE 2) $280.00 Yamaha BB450 Bass Made in Japan MIJ 1980's. Red. Few small dings. I really like the look of the RBX260. Plus it's local and can pick it up today.

    Guitar player wanting bass information

I like Seymour D myself. Thats what I've used to replace into two of my guitars. I do have one guitar with Dimarzio pups. Something about SD though, gives me more of that 80's heavy metal tone that I like. (Yes, I'm an 80's heavy metal lover). I want it to have punch, I don't want it to sound...

    Guitar player wanting bass information

Hey all... New guy here. 20 years ago, I had an Ibanez bass. College came, had to sell it needed money. Fast forward. Friend talks me into learning guitar. Been playing for a year and a few months now. I've taking a fondness to buying less expensive guitars, tweeking them, buying new parts...
