My advice would be to keep the Geddy bass and save your money till you can afford the Stingray. I have sold things that had sentimental value in the past only to regret it months later.Remember good things happen to those that wait.

Hi, I have been looking at purchasing an Ampeg BA112 bass amp. I am a newbie bass player and I want a small amp to practice on and rehearse with when my skills are up to it.What are some opinions on this particular amp ? Are there better amps in this price range and if so, what are they ?
