Two amps are better than one?

I play in an acoustic trio (well, acoustic and electric guitars, and bass). Not looking to double the volume, just be a little louder with more bass extension. Looking for the rich deep tone (not volume) of a 500W amp through a 4x10, but with two Rumble 100s. Currently using an EH Tone Corset...

    Fender Rumble V3 100 speaker up-grade ?

Okay, so I realized my error with the mounting holes... was looking at it backwards. The speaker holes are closer together than the mounting holes in the cab, so the screws will overhang the lip of the speaker frame. I must have disc-lexia! Rather not cut the lip of the metal speaker frame...

    Fender Rumble V3 100 speaker up-grade ?

Why do you have to cut the speaker frame to clear the bolts with the Beta 12A? Its "mounting holes BCD" is 11.69" and the BCD of the OEM speaker, from screw center to center, is 11.75", meaning the Beta 12A mounting holes are closer to center of the speaker, not closer to the frame edge. If...

Both are working in parallel, with the tone and volume controls of the upper one controlling both. The volume difference is noticeable, think it's 6dB more, but...

Two amps are better than one?

Wasn't expecting twice the volume, just curious what two 100Cs together (2x12, 200W) would sound like in tone and volume relative to a 200C (1x15, 140W) or 500C (2x10, 350W).

Two amps are better than one?

I was debating a single Rumble 200C or a pair of 100C's and the pair won (1 used and 1 on sale). I use one for practice and can Send/Receive the second for more output or use them in stereo. I'd expect the 2x12 would be louder than the 1x15... more total cone area and 200W vs. 140W. But when I...
