i may have not worded my last post rightly diferences between rockabilly bass mainly when advertised are just cheap tacky chinese basses made to look good with sparkly flames and crappy paint jobs if you want a proper rockabilly bass then look at king basses from usa these are proper for the job...

what daft answers you got there is a big difference between rockabilly bass and jazz double bass firstly they are set up differently and it dosnt matter what col bass you get to do either style rockabilly bass players use weedwacker strings whith are crap a decent string are inovation super...
