    Music Man Caprice: True Boutique Quality

    I have been playing a Vintage Burst Caprice for roughly 3 months. I believe the frets are stainless steel,they shure seem like it. my Caprice seems like it could last forever. I agree, great fret work,starting with a beautifully cut nut.

    I put a set a set of "Super Slinky" cobalt flats on my MM Sterling 4 HH & my Stingray 4 HH. WOW! Sound & Playability is outstanding, "off the chart".

    Bending your string tips when restringing and other stringing practices...

    I always bend string prior to cutting. I highly recommend this with coated strings, of any brand. Being coated makes them more likely to slippages. The bend seems to provide extra lockage at machine head,IMO.
