    Yes this is right - the strings look like they are silk - wrapped with metal wire - and then coated or wrapped with plastic. (Not all strings, just the ones that specify all three components)

    Ah, sorry! I was thinking about the "plastic" wrapped silk strings - in comparison to the plastic wrapped gut strings (like the Wrap X set was on G and D, which is now made of stabilized silk).

    Does anybody here know firsthand if the Sonores 2020 strings made of unwrapped Stabilized silk are identical in appearance to unwrapped Gut material? Is there a clear visual discernment? Thank you!
