No it doesn't scratch. It is a definite buzzing sound, which seems to get louder as I turn the pot up.

Hello! I have a Spector bass with 2 stock EMG (I believe EMG's made for Spector). Anyways, their are two tone pots, one for each of the pickups...I believe. The neck pickup pot buzzes really loud when I have the pot dimed. This buzz goes away, or becomes quieter as I turn the pot down...

*** Update *** I went with the 8x10 Hydrive...and it is sweet! And loud as hell. I had 4x10 and a 1x15 LH500 cranked to 2 close to 3 o'clock. With this cab, turned myself all the way down to 9 o'clock! Always kinda of felt that 4x10 wasn't as loud as it should be. Never took the time to see...

Thanks for the input! At this time, there is really no concern about weight and/or moving the cabs around, as they will relatively stay in one place. Didn't mean to keep the cabs a secret. To be honest, I am horrible keeping everything straight model wise. I have a 4x10 Peavey TX, and a 1x15...

Hello! With the LH500, 500 @ 4ohm. With 2 x 8 ohm cabs, is that 250 watts per cab? So a 4 ohm cab, would give me 500 watts, correct? Would there be a differance in volume between the two setups? I am using the 2 x 8 ohm setup now, and honestly I thought it/I would be much louder. I...
