Just want to know what piece of hardware I'll need to accomplish this setup. I have the gear to record both separately, just want to do (clean) DI/(dirty) live mic'ing at the same time.

I'm liking this bass but it really seems to need a refret (at least frets 1-5). I feel at this point I'd be dumping a lot of money into this to keep it. Seems like a refret on Rick's would be costly? How low can you go on the original frets?

Turns out it was a 78! I snagged it for a good price.

I just dig the original look but appreciate this info! Is the white part showing just what is normally under the original bridge? Just wondering if that's some weird repair or not.

So those aren’t reverse tuners? I’m going to go check it out today and I’ll check the jack plate. How expensive would it be to get an original bridge?

Found this at a pawn shop the other day. No serial number to be found? Obviously not a stock bridge. They claim 1972 I think?

Apparently the serial number is: IC040961744 But the headstock says Fender? Indonesia? I just haven't seen any that say Fender instead of Squire.
