Buy a flight case and ship it, you won't have to deal with carrying it around and it'll be cheaper...flying into dallas using delta would actually be delta connection...which charges $150 or you have to buy a seat for it, if it can't fit in their tiny ass compartments.

I couldn't imagine spending a few hundred to get it fixed...worst case scenario is you snap the neck and even in that case you can get a decent neck used for under $200...

I strongly care about resale value, it's what allows me to have 7 basses and 6 guitars as well as a whole bunch of amps and cabs. Properly purchased and cared for, when I do sell something theres always a nice profit on top and thats what makes this hobby affordable to me.

My only problem with the ray is it seems expensive for what it is, they are great basses and I have no problem spending the cash on a bass they just don't feel good enough to warrant a new cost around $600-700. Am I wrong for feeling that way?
