I know what you mean. I originally had a wider upper horn with more angle but had to dial it back a little for the stock. The sycamore top wasn't wide enough. If this goes well, they'll be a headless and that one the design will dictate the stock, not the other way around.

I've got a set of Delano MM pups in my Corvette $$ with the same standard spacing and they sound awesome, though they do look a little wonky. I've seen BBG have sets of them in proper spacing in the clearance section so I know I can get them, just have to special order them probably.

It wasn't bad. Made a paper template to the cavity, traced it onto the piece I picked out, rough cut it and then just sanded it down till it fit in. Going to actually make positive and negative templates for the next one though.
