Replacement J pickup suggestions for Warwick

[Invalid or Expired Link Removed][series]=5&tx_smtdelano_pi1[strings]=5&tx_smtdelano_pi1[system]=34 Everything you want to know about Delano Pups. They are split coils. Shielding is not hard, just takes time. :) To shield the control cavity I removed the pots and jack. I used copper...

    P-Bass Pickup Dilemma

I have a spb-3 in a Squier P. Very hot output, out of 5 basses the P is the hottest, even against 2 actives. Nice clear sound, lots of lows and highs. Great with flats or rounds. More of a modern sound, but roll the tone down a bit and it still has the signature P thump.

Replacement J pickup suggestions for Warwick

Big +1 on these I just put these in my fretless 4 'vette. I also copper shielded the control cavity. I now have 0 hum or rf noise. These pups are clearer and punchier than the Mec's. I still have all of the Warwick "sound" too. I would do it again in a second!

What is the best (for metal)

I voted ESP LTD. Thats what I have (B-305) and I like it.

    Headstock Logo

I thought about putting my name on it too. But I like this Idea :)

    Headstock Logo

I have been conspiring with my wife to design a new and somewhat original logo for my blue *Squier* P-bass. I took the Squier name off of is after I had to work on it more than I could play it for a few months. To date I have had to fix/mod/upgrade many things; sharp frets, high frets...

What amp do you use to practice?

I bought a GK backline 110 combo a few months ago. 70W and 30lbs. It is way louder and clearer than a Peavey 115 100W amp that I had. I also have a GK 1001rbii with 410+115 for *less quiet* practice.

    New Practice Amp

Look what I got. 30lbs 70W 1 10" all for $199 out the door. My little practice amp. :hyper: Size compared to my Full stack It sounds very similar to my 1001rbii/410/115 setup (as it should ) It does ok with a low B at reasonable practice volume.

What is the Price of your most expensive bass?

$750 New 2006 Warwick Corvette Standard fretless. GC had it for while and was willing to deal a little to move it, it was marked "On Sale $1039"

    Gallien-Krueger Club Official Club Thread!

I love my GK rig. A soon as I got this home I knew my amp GAS was taken care of. Almost 2 years and I can't think of any amp that will do this for the same money!

A poll for those using flats: Whats your age?

26 I put flats on 3 of my basses last Dec. I still have them on my Squier P and my ESP 5 string. They are great. I put DR BB on my fretless Warwick(flats weren't right for me on that one) and I will keep rounds on my VM jazz for now.

    Made in America???

I have 4 basses, all of them are favs. I voted other as none of mine are US or Japan, although my Warwick is from Germany(Europe). ESP=Korea Squier P=China Squier VMJ=Indonesia I don't care where its built as long as its a solid instrument!

    Looking at a Warwick Corvette.

Its not a bad deal, it will be a nice bass. Why does it need a fret job?
