I became a memeber today! Its a Hofner Verythin; the long scale version. Holy macaroni, this thing is loud AF!!! Its passive, but I plug it into the active input to my amp and I still only tuen it up to about 3. Love, love, love it so far.

You know what would be awesome? Don't invest in a drum throne, just take that couch with you to gigs and play the drums from there.
