    Show me your pedalboard

How much clearance do you have on top? I have the Wide also but I have a multi-effect on the top shelf. (see the post below yours) I bought the bag for it but it's a bit cumbersome to put in/take out the board.

I have a Holeyboard Wide. We have a lot of spacey interludes so it's nice to be able to add to the mix, let it delay out, and then drop the bass. Ernie Ball Volume->Cry Baby Bass Wah->Soundblox Bass Envelope Filter->Boss ME-50B->Boss Phase Shifter->Boss Digital Delay

Whats the best synth effects pedal for bass?

I think I'm after what you are too. (Swelling big bass horror movie effect) I was wondering if a dedicated foot synth would work better.

Ha! I saw those guys on "The Great Food Truck Race". I had high hopes for them.

Hi all. I'm about to get a 5-string. I currently have the 500 combo. I may want to put something underneath it. Is the 115 necessary? Will the 210 suffice? Should I just go as-is? I don't play anywhere giant but I would like to be able to hear the low B. As for my playing style I play round...

Believe me, I wish I could. ;) I have read a lot on this but still see posts where the writers assure that the addition of the larger speaker is what they needed. That's why I thought I would ask. If you notice the advice is still all over the place. I'm glad that some have questioned if the...

So that goes back to my original question about adding the extension cab.

That's good to know. I was using a horrible Behringer combo prior which had way too much power for the speakers. It was ridiculously heavy and ultimately I blew the speakers turning it up to 4. Yeah, 4.

Well, so there's part of the problem. It's not just one room that I play in and I'm competing with a full band. I don't want to volume up too much and blow the speakers either. You could very well be right but it's been an ongoing complaint from the guys in the band.

I was wondering if it may be my pickups. I'm not too familiar with them. The bass is an EC-254AT witht the factory EMG 35HZ Passive pickups.

Don't worry. Thanks for asking questions. I have done both options you mentioned. Right now I do have bass all the way up and vintage enabled. Sounds great but I would just like a little more oomph than the 2x10 is currently giving me. My band plays a variety of music. Mostly rock but sometimes...

Ah. Both 19" wide. I hadn't even considered that one. Thank you. How much difference do you get adding the 12 versus just the 2-10s in terms of loudness, depth, etc?

Hi all. New member to these forums. I'm sure this has been discussed already in this thread but it's tough to sift through 560 pages. I have a Fender Rumble 500 Combo. I love it. It's light, sounds great, etc. I am looking for a little more low end. From what I've read there are very mixed...
