Favorite bass amp sim for ultra low frequencies

Just because fender stops at b0 doesn't mean we all do. Does anyone own a pre amp or an amp sim pedal that makes passive pickups sound nice on a pa with lower than B0 notes?

Favorite bass amp sim for ultra low frequencies

Just curious if anyone has found a bass amp sim pedal that wooks well with ultra low notes. It will be connected to a PA with a low subwoofer. Thanks in advance to all responses

Just ordered some exceptionally long and thick strings from Kalium. Had a really good customer experience there and would recomend it to anyone.

I am working on an experimental bass design that calls for 40 inch strings. Came in the mail on time. Customer service was exceptional and the owner of the company even reached out to me to make sure I had not placed a wrong order since they were not usable on a standard bass. Saw some past...

Just ordered two types of very unusual stringa at kalium. Extremely happy with the strings and the owner was very helpful and encouraging to assist with my outrageous projects. Comming from someone in customer service it is nice to find someone this dedicated to their business and field of...

I am really curious what my little subwoofer will do. Strangely this thread also makes me want to see movies in theaters again so I can listen to the bass system. They should use the PAs more for co concerts in cinema halls since movies are slowing down. Or video game contests.

Thanks to everyone for contributing very interesting posts. I still dont get half the science but appreciate the chance to learn from all who shared. Since it will be used for other things in the house like movies, music listening, gaming as well as boosting my silly but enjoyable rumble 40. I...

Very inspired by this. Just found a subwoofer that goes down to 16hz. Feel like it would be a moving experience.

I could not hear it. If I get a subwoofer I will try it again. Another rabbit hole is that a lot of movies tend to score soundtracks with use of low frequencies. Strange how this is such a controversial subject when it has been Hollywood for decades.

Amazing. Looks like he takes being a star very personally. I like that he still has fun. The people who came up in the late 60s were on another level. I am thinking of trying a subwoofer that is responsive to 16hz. Surprisingly movies have low signal sounds in their music scores and the...

It was not that long ago that there were no bass guitars. I am just exploring as a guitar builder to see where the gaps are. Hearing experts.....

It is a daunting frontier. I think I will start small and see if a woofer changes how I like the sound effect. Seems like to do it right takes a lot of cash and I don't know if I'm up for that. Would be happier I think if I learned to play better and band or something. Connecting with people...

Wow that is awesome. I love the closing comment. Just learned there is this thing called phon where for the deep notes to be heard they have to be very loud. I guess this is why the wash out happens to the rest of the mix. I think this is like a thing unto itself. Would be awesome to have as an...

Thanks for going into depth. I feel like this is a different approach to explaining the phon graph someone posted. Looks like this is a tougher nut to crack than I first expected.

It depends on the kind of music. I think there are some spots in doom metal where it could add something. i like building guitars with low note capability but i am learning that there is an appreciable multifaceted wall of limitations to this. I don't want to make something that has no...
