    I use the sonicport with an Ipad4 and have had no noise issues. I don't put it in airplane mode or close any other apps, jsut plug it in, open up jamup, and I am good.

    I got the line6 sonic port and have good volume from the 1/4" output, I have not tried the headphone output.
