    Ibanez BTB multiscales…sheesh

It's pretty rigid and tough, but I won't trust the baggage handlers with it. You can usually bring instruments as carry-on and the crew will store it in the coat cabinet on the plane for you. That's probably th safer way to go.

    NBD: Ibanez BTB805MS-TGF

Depends... do I get a discount on my next set of Payson flats from you guys if I post a video? ;) That said, I do like the way your flats sound.

I bought the new Ibanez BTB805MS w/ Ibanez T1 PUPs

Mine are about 3mm on the neck pickup and 2mm on the bridge pickups after I had adjusted them to my liking. Out of the box it was about 5mm.

    Ibanez BTB Club, Part 2!

I was trying to avoid this extra work. Looks like the cavity only has conductive paint and aluminum tape on the back cover.

    Ibanez BTB Club, Part 2!

I got my BTB805MS about a month ago and it has been a joy to play! Anyone noticed the preamp being noisy when you have the highs cranked way up and close to a computer? I'm primarily a guitar player and haven't had this issue with my non-preamp-ed guitars.

Desprately wanting a Ibanez BTB 6-String

Like you, I was apprehensive about going the muiltiscale route but it has been a natural tranisition. Brain and muscles both adjust with no issues. That said, it may not be for everyone.

Desprately wanting a Ibanez BTB 6-String

I recently picked up the Ibanez BTB805MS and I'm impressed at how it plays/sounds. I was on the fence between the BTB845-CBL and the multiscale and decided to take the dive on the multiscale, after reading how dark the Bartolini BH2s sound on the regular BTBs and my preference for flatwounds...

I bought the new Ibanez BTB805MS w/ Ibanez T1 PUPs

Congratulations on the new bass. The leather and Velcro thing is to wrap both carrying handles of the gig bag together so you can easily pick it up without fumbling with the handles separately. First, loop one end to one handle and Velcro it. Then once its done, gather the other handle and...

    NBD: Ibanez BTB805MS-TGF

First impressions: Fit and finish is good, nothing to complain about. Weighed in at 10.3 lbs. Did a quick play test and was surprised at the clarity of the Ibanez T1 pups. The EQ was also pretty flexible and gave a good range of useable tones. I did run into an issue - I noticed a soft...

    Ibanez BTB805MS - A radical bass guitar

It was weighed at 10.4 lbs by Ish (there were 5 to pick from at that time and the weights were 9.9-10.4lbs). Edit: weighed it on my bike scale - 10.3 lbs Just switched it over to Payson Fanned Flats and really loving how it sounds. Not much of a style adjustment from my other bass.

    NBD: Ibanez BTB805MS-TGF

I've been looking at getting a 5-string for a while, and finally pulled the trigger on an Ibanez BTB805MS I'm primarily a guitar player so I was a little apprehensive on going to a 37" multiscale, but so far, it plays pretty well, with minimal adjustment to playing style from my other bass.
