I just acquired the peavey ampkit and dowloaded the app, i cannot seem to get any volume out of my bass, yet demos comes through just fine. Any ideas? Yes, the volume on my bass is turned up full.

Tried doing a search, and probably has already been addressed, though I would like to ask a more specific query, being, would the GB be able to drive both Schroeder 1212R cabinets at the same time, one at 4ohm and the other at 8ohm? Will there be a volume difference?

Anyone checked out any and could recommend?

Does anyone know what type of tuners Gary's got on his bass? Tried Googling, and it came up with SureGrip, can't seem to find more info on them or where one might purchase them.:confused:

Sorry to side track the thread, but whilst it here....... Can the GBE1200 drive either two Uber212T or Neox212T at the same time? Asking because the cabs are rated 4ohm.

thanks for all your replies so far. I think in that case I've heard from Cirrus users who are pleased with the Millenium preamp. Back to my original question.......just to tease this thing out for completeness, if you're reading this and you've replaced your bass pre with either the Audere...

I mentioned in my previous post that the sound didn't quite resonate with me. How have you personally found the millenium pre? Could you provide more description as to what you thought the differences are between the stock and the upgrade?

IMHO, I'm more of a conservative kinda of player, and would rather the bass sound right plugged in without having to use pedals, or play with the eq. I mostly like a bass to sound fine with the eq flat, and its only to be used to tweak when playing live as opposed to eq-ing out something I...

I think you've just hit it on the head, that's what I'm looking for, a lower mid frequency, or a preamp that's flexible in that department.

Hi Mark Hard to describe but I think tonally, where the mids are "sitting", there is perceive gap between the lows and highs giving the Cirrus a slightly "harsher" sound. Again hard to really nail it down as its in my head really, but thanks.

Hi all, Appreciate your input and it is a difficult choice. Acknowledging the price difference $220 for the Nordstrand and $130 for the Audere, lets assume it is irrelevant. I do have an Audere 3ZB and like the sound, I am wondering though if the Nordstrand might be a better sounding...
