I’m surprised not many bass players use the “triangle” picks. I’ve been using the torex .73 triangles for a while. Sometimes I experiment with .88 and the “flex” .73 and .88 but all are the triangles.

I’m a new owner to a Bass VI and wondering what strings players use on this bass. I normally play Slinky 105-50 nickel wounds on my four string P Bass, Ric 4003, Stingray etc which I like the sound but wondering what may go well with the Bass VI.

Success!!! Once I figured out the front grill panel was just attached to velcro, I removed that and pushed the chassis through the front. I removed the screws holding the top of the chassis and undid the input jack and removed the piece of my 1/4" end piece. Back to making some sound!

Oh and I’ve tried magnets and pliers to no avail. (How this started was I took old cables that stopped working and put some cheaper ends on them and was testing them out. They sounded fine until I stepped on and pulled the cable at an odd angle. Good news, my soldering held!)

Well, I accidentally stepped on the 1/4 guitar cord at practice tonight, that connected my bass to the Ampeg V4B head and the Jack in the head fell apart into several pieces one of which is lodged deep into input jack. How can I gain access to that area to remove that piece of the 1/4 jack?

Concur, this pedal is amazing. I own the “solid blue with sparkles” color combination and was just wondering if there was a version difference that also had a tonal difference with the other color scheme.
