Dont buy in to the pf500 bullcrap if u want a live amp. Its a ****, unreliable live amp that randomly cuts out unless u have your bass unplugged or have it set to quiet. It does sound nice, but u cant do anything with it.

Got a 350 watt acoustic brand cab for $51 . Pretty damn stoked. Means i can use the full 500 watts of my amp as it is an 8 ohm one.

Just a cort gb34 a converted to passive with a reissue vintage pbass harness and a 3 way selector switch. I run knucklehead double wide 110 strings and into an ampeg pf500. Sounds great.

Wilkinson jazz pup. Sounds great. Good bottim end, great mids for a jazz pup, and crisp top. All for $21. Just got the mm one as well.

I have a cort j/mm and it was active. I put a p bass vintage repro harness in and wired a 3 way on switch. Get a lil buzz from the j pup, as u do, but wired so i can run j/mm togeter, doesnt hum or lower output like on some j/j setups. Works great, and made me realise i prefer passive.

Just got a wilkinson neck jazz pup. Thought id take the risk. What they like? Ive googled, cant find alot of info n wanna know if anybody tried them. Didnt like the quarter pounder, to aggressive. The specs on the w pup seemed alright.
