I build a few different types of fuzzes and many if not most are just barely above unity in their stock form. I don't know what they were thinking. Most of the time it's just a simple component change to make it louder.

I'm glad to hear it. I hope this doesn't sound rude I build a lot of pedals for people so could you please help refresh my memory and tell me your name so I can remember which one you were.

Just to make it clear. I don't build the GGG Brass Master and sell it to the general public claiming it to be my own as a certain person (you know who you are) is implying. It was a one off that I built as a special request for a customer who did not have the skills to build the kit himself.

The board wouldn't fit in that space if it was rotated 180 degrees. I could have moved the switch to give me space to do that but then everything wouldn't have lined up on the outside to look like this:

I agree. The FZ-1s is great and one of my most popular pedals. With the 2 types of fuzz and balance knob you can go from a basically clean boost to full blown over the top octave fuzz. It's a lot of fun.
