What if you had a Gig, and Noboby Came?

We also had a similar experience at a 4th of July show a couple of years ago. Very well attended bar normally - but day time show and 21 and over only. Hardly anyone came because the restaurant/bar across the street also had bands and was an all ages venue. The band that opened (and they were...

"Check In" here before and after your gigs, Set #2, the sequel!

Played Saturday at a wine tasting room in Sonoma - classic rock/Grateful Dead, etc. Pretty fun, nice weather. Lots of great wine.

How much do you get paid per gig?

We average 50 to 100 dollars per member for bar gigs. But we have played for pizza vouchers (very good pizza) or artisan wine (bottle per set). We do some benefits also where we throw in our fee as a donation.

    Doing favor's for the band.

What is it with singers? We do without a dedicated singer (we all have to sing now) because they always try to move in with you or bum all your food or bring their dogs over and let them trash your carpets.

    Who Actually LIKES Their Guitarists?

I like both of my guitarists. We go through drummers in a Spinal Tap way, though!
