That sounds about right is probably just me looking down at a maple neck that doesn’t look like maple in tint. Looks plays and feels awesome.

Question. So last week I took possession of a Sadowsky 24 fret PJ4 ash/maple with a roasted maple neck. Awesome bass! The roasted neck feels like it may have a hand rubbed finish. Not sure. Wondering if any roasted neck owners might Comment. I’ll say the neck feels great!

^^^^^ This poster has some good advice for a home fix. If your don't feel comfortable find a small local auto paint shop. I have friends that paints Harley's, hod rods, and haveI've had small repairs fixed so you can't tell they were ever there!
