    broken acoustic bass neck

It depends mostly on the break itself, if its the headstock then a good wood glue should be able to get it playable, though I wouldn't count on it playing very well, especially if you don't know what you're doing putting back together. I wood glued my brothers acoustic guitar after the dog...

The Most Ridiculous Deal On a Bass You Ever Made..,or MISSED!

A Warwick Corvette at a pawn shop for NZ$350, looked like it was in perfect condition, played great, it just needed a new set of strings. When I went back the next day with cash in hand it was gone :(

    Designing a bass

... Nice design, I like the different woods used. Its a little bit "boutique-y" for my tastes, but the contours on the shoulders are a nice touch.

Think back. What were you looking for when you bought your second bass?

My first bass was a P-bass copy, and for my second bass I didn't really have a clue what I wanted in it, other than I wanted a Jazz bass. So I went down to the music store and looked at the racks for about an hour or so, before asking to try a bass that I'd played there before, a MIM Fender...
