Here's a shot of my OLP EVH Music Man model. I have to say, I'm impressed with it. Solid construction and good tone (for a guitar). I would totally pick up one of the MM clones from this company if given the chance.

OLP stands for Officially Licensed Product and is actually a third-party company that licenses designs from other companies. The only tie they had to Music Man was that they, for a while, licensed the look of Music Man basses to sell at a lower price point. The do the same thing with Spector....

that would make alot of sense..

And just to keep things on topic, Here's a Danny Longhorn that I picked up at a pawn shop one fateful day for $200.

I don't know of it's one of the reissues or not, but I don't care, because it looks cool.

Curious pick-up pole positions.

There is another pole piece under each string, but its sunk under the cover, this is a design by Bill Lawrence so you can play on the lower strings really high up, with more even tone, none of those odd warbles/overtones.

Nope, the bridge covers will not fit, AFAIK.

There is a fender forum thread about putting ashtrays on a jazz that has a BadassII


Move the bridge up a little and you can put a jazz bass bridge cover there if you want!
