There is a fender forum thread about putting ashtrays on a jazz that has a BadassII


Move the bridge up a little and you can put a jazz bass bridge cover there if you want! :smug:

Hmmm...I couldn't find that discussion on the Fender Forum, but how would that work with keeping the scale length at 34"? Would you just compensate by tightening up the saddles by the same distance? If that's the answer, it seems to me that the breakover point would be impacted too.

I dunno, ashtrays do look cool, but that seems an awful lot of changes for looks...
