How did you get your username!? :eyebrow:

Testing...: ████

Ha, seems I got it -I guess it's html for 4 black boxes, and then it shows up in blue because all user names do on TB? And orange when you move your pointer to it, for the same reason.

I picked this up going to PM and pressing the "nohilite" box that popped up... I was curious as well :p

Nice. I'm going to keep an eye out for one when I sell off some other stuff. Is it the short-scale, or the long-scale version (at least, I seem to recall there being a short-scale one)?

I think this one was only ever long scale, there was a more normal looking one in retro-aquamarine that was short-scale.

I got this <100 used, but have seen them all over the place price wise. Wouldn't pay too much, it's basically a toy with a 50-50 chance of sounding perfect or silly.

Had only this for the past 20 years....

Ah, gotcha. Thanks, though. It's given me something to ponder. I need a four banger because the one I have is in rough shape and not really playable.

I think that something to note on this model is that rosewood bridge piece. The new models got rid of the rosewood strip
in favor of adjustable saddles. Though I do hear that the new saddles are still not easy to get at for adjustment.

And they do come in short scale.

Here is my Fender American Standard Jazz Bass / Left Handed, with a Warmoth neck. Plus I replaced the knobs to chrome barrel knobs and the pickups are Fender Original 60's Jazz Bass pickup set.
