OK, not stupendous for anyone else but I'm a novice and this one will be my very first totally new bass. My new Ibanez GSR200FM!! Woohoo! Just got it at Alto Music in Orange County, New York. I left it there for a little tech work, so here are some pics I stole off of eBay that match it perfectly.....

(sorry about the clothes, and yes, I had other clothes on me when I took the pictures)
Nice! That should be right up my alley - you know where to find me once you've recorded something. I'm eager to hear it!I am working on the music Peter..going back to playing live improvisational instrumental music, with a heavy emphasis on Afrobeat 12/8 riddims, junk/found instruments banging out claves on brake drums, and free jazz saxophone..you know, sorta like Brittany Spears' latest stuff..;(
Thanks for listening! I'm glad you like it.And there is some really beautiful and slightly disturbing (not mutually exclusive btw) music on your site..we like Mats G here in Chicago a lot.
Enmesarra, Love the bass, and the King of Diamonds is a nice touch.
That being said, I just spent the last 20 minutes looking at Dark Knight posters from other countries.![]()
Carl Thompson, Pete Hilton fretless, Antoniotsai(don't ask), Ibanez SRX400, and an Eminence EU.

Took this earlier today, but not with the intention of posting it here, but then I registered and realized I needed an intro someplace around here, and so here we are. \m/
/me resumes lurking....

Ben Lesser said:What's the sound like?

Haven't had the chance to play it through a real amp, and all the examples around the net are basically playing it wrong:
The best sound comes from fingering over the fret board with the lower pickup off, giving this sort of warm pop-y almost double-bass hum.
But yet all I can find is people playing it way down low with this gurgley metallic gain-y plinky-pick ness, one guy was even trying to slap it
Either way it seems to show love to slow deliberate notes, think Motown love songs, could totes work for indie.
This is my first bass and I wont ever be giving it up
