Nevermind, I emailed SA and they replied (very quickly), saying that it is a known issue that occurs when the ring goes out of range during initial connection. Unplugging the battery or waiting for it to die does solve this problem. Thanks for the tips! (I wish I had other HHs...) What other...

Alright so I received my HH USB yesterday and it works perfectly with my computer. I was going to test it with my iPad today... but the ring froze when I tested it with my computer again. Blue light is on (not flashing), but axis changes are not recognized by the software editor. Plugging it in...

I am also going to try this. I have ordered a hot hand usb a few days ago and plan on trying it out with my ipad 3. I am wondering if this will work with two hot hands, controlling the same parameter (to allow faster bass wobbling, for exmaple) and also if it will work with different parameters...
