the ashdown mag410 is rated at 350 watts at 8 ohms, using the 700 at 8 ohms is 500 watts which means risking speaker blowout

you should consider that if you buy the 700 you will need to buy a better rated cab or a second cab as you wont be able to run it at 8 ohms

laney RB8 - fits the price range, 300w , modern , has a graphical eq built in for tuning to rooms, it is just a 1X15 , 33kg and not "that" big

yea i went through the same sort of situation last year, lead singer all of a sudden "couldnt" get to the gig. so we practiced put our rythm guitarist on as leadsinger, myself and the lead practiced backup simplified our set, out goes muse in goes b182, sorted. However the little sob turned up...

for me at least when its myself, the drummer and the rhythm guitarist, one of us just starts playing something, calls out the key/progression then the rest of us lock in, we just figure out the details whilst we are playing. Half of the fun of jamming in my opinion is making a few small mistakes...

The complete inability of my lead guitarist and lead singer to turn up anywhere punctually. Allways being told to turn down when the guitarists manage to point their own amps directly at their shins. Both really annoy me

guiness is ruined the second it leaves ireland, it just doesnt taste the same, we are talking about making it more manly and therefore more appropriate for a bassist :)
