In my understanding, muscle memory requires lots of practice. So you can "remember" the spacing between left hand fingers(for fretless) But what if you play two instruments- with different spacing and pitches- say cello and bass Will the muscle memory overlap and ruin the technique of both...

well, i think i can handle the tension because i once had played a super hi tension cello,, maybe i should go to try some in the store before i actually get the strings.

hi i have a MIM 60s fender j bass i am thinking about replacing a new fretless neck. what is the best fingerboard wood? rosewood or pau ferro or ebony? and also are there any significant of using indian rosewood as neck wood?
