If I recall the last Guitar Center catalog I got in the mail did not have 1 page dedicated to bass, or even 1 bass in the entire thing. Perhaps they are trying to tell us we no longer need to buy gear.

My first thought upon seeing it was a Radio Shack receiver from the 70's, cool then, not so much now. I could see all of those knobs sheering off very easily.

Oh yeah, there is a foot switch on the unit to switch between inputs, as well as a boost. This allows you to switch basses without having to swap any cables

The way the BassBone works is that it has 2 inputs/channels, each bass would have it's own cable going into the bassbone. From the bassbone you would either run a cable out to your pedals and then amp or just directly to your amp. The unit also has an FX loop if you prefer to run your pedals...

+1 to this, I had one back in the late 80's that looked exactly like this, except the wood stain was a bit darker. Decent bass actually.
