    Club Sandberg (part 2)

Hey man! Mine feels pretty much the same in active/passive modes. The pots in mine are incredibly smooth and don’t have a ton of resistance, hope this helps.

Your favourite short scale strings in 2025? (flats and rounds)

Been loving these strings for a few months on my Rumblekat. I’m interested to see how the Dunlops age but they’ve retained a lot of resonance and top end that really makes that bass shine. Love the feel too, satiny without being rough.

Great playing! I really like the tone you have there. Look Sharp is one of the coolest albums ever made, so many bangers!

My wife and I have decided to start a 60's rock/r&b band, so naturally that requires a new bass, right?:smug: My little eye spotted this beauty on Thomann so I decided to throw them the business again. Should arrive Wednesday and man am I stoked!

    Tech 21 Club

My wares. I’ve owned a good number of T21 stuff with zero complaints. They build their products well and give me a sound that always works. I do want to swap out the Para for a BDDI v2 eventually so I can use it for other instruments. I keep looking on here but they always get snapped up...

    Show your tidy pedalboard!

Finally got the gumption to put a couple boards together this week. The last 18 months had been kinda difficult ,so I haven’t been able to play out. In January of 2025 my wife was diagnosed with cancer, which sucked a whole bunch. Her treatment and recovery became life’s focus and being a...

New - Fender American Professional Classic Series

Mine had a few of those issues too. The bridge was over to the point that the strings were jammed in the ferrules. I couldn’t remove the old strings without loosening the screws. The strings were also jacked up, the G and D strings had little more than a single wrap around the tuning post. When...

New - Fender American Professional Classic Series

Picked up a red one at the House of Guitars on Black Friday. I played it through a few different amps and had a big ol smile on my face so I brought it home and so far I have been having a lot of fun with it! This is my second Mustang bass. A few years back I bought an American Performer...

+💯 The Ken Smith RWM-S set has been my go to for a couple of years now. They feel absolutely fantastic and they settle in very gradually and hold their tone forever. $23 bucks for strings isn’t bad either!

    Show your tidy pedalboard!

My two pedalboards. Both are made from D-Tree bamboo cutting boards inside an Apache 1800 case from Harbor Freight. For most everything I will typically reach for the VTDI board but the BDDI and the Ego are a killer combination!

    A bass for playing Beatles

This is my Epiphone Rumblekat. On the used market they typically go for $4-500 and next to an actual Hofner, it’s my favorite for that type of sound. It’s also really great at a lot of other tones too.

    Show your tidy pedalboard!

It’s pretty interesting. It keeps bass very well but I always miss having a blend control. For low gain grit it is my awesome!

MXR M81, worth the money? Anything better?

Glad to help! It’s a fantastic pedal that is difficult to get bad sounds out of. Enjoy!
