I'd love the VT Bass Deluxe - it looks like you can save presets on it like the regular Programmable Bass Driver?
Yeah, it's basically a VT Bass pedal, with provision to save 6 unique presets, and the option to incorporate an f/x loop into those presets, as well as choosing between two different inputs / instruments (3 presets each), or one main input (all six presets across two banks A/B).
It does have some limitations though: such as you can only save the present you're editing to the same slot (rather than being able to move it from, for example, slot 1 bank A, to slot 3 bank B).
And I really wish it would have been possible to have a sliding switch, to select between its default "preset" mode, and a "regular" mode, where the knobs behave like a regular pedal (i.e. whatever their position, that's the result you get, even after power down / power up).
As it is, the knobs only come into effect when you adjust them away from the current preset setting - and in some higher gain settings you can hear the blinking lights that indicate how far / close their current position is to the value saved in the preset (as soon as you double-stomp to save the preset, the lights stop blinking, so there is no audible interference, regardless of how high the gain is set / EQ is boosted).
