Peavey BXP Millennium 5-string
Peavey MAX 158 15W combo practice amp
That's it. I've always liked this really great low-end guitar-type sound as I was growing up, and I finally pulled the trigger and bought one in 2007.
I just recently started to learn playing it, which I should have when I bought it, years ago.
The amp I felt just went with it.

Myself, I like the sound of a Bass, and the feeling of harmony / rhythm, the whole reason of getting into it & buying a Bass.
Mike Dirnt from Green Day - first band I listened to, thought the bassist sounded good.
Flea from RHCP - guy does insane things with his bass.
Justin Chancellor from Tool - He can play in different time than their guitarist and still have a good sound & feel.
