Yep, Mark's (timber22) bass is a 4 string Millennium. :D Yeah I find a 5 string would be tough on beginners, that low-B sounds pretty darn sexy though! I'm still trying to learn mine, I'm a newbie skill-wise but I bought my 5-string almost 3 years ago, wish I had started learning back then...

Hey bud, I think you should go for that Peavey Millennium. I had my eye on it and was working on the deal for it, but some vehicle stuff interfered & I had to back out of it. I have small hands and I figured a 4-string would do the trick. I have a Millennium BXP-5 (5 string model.) I love it...

Will do, I heard that learning music notation is leaps & bounds ahead of just learning Tabs, so I should learn to read music notation first, learn some basic scales after that? (I know the strings, how to tune, some basic chords, that's it atm.) I have pretty small hands though.. I did try...
