I agree, the US got dominated in the 1st half, but they were able to keep the deficit at 1. I'd say the US easily won the 2nd half by a wide enough margin to win the game, they just couldn't find the last touch. The goal in ET was a good strike, but a pretty lucky play IMO.

The person doing the piercing will probably say you should get some sort of anti-septic that they sell at the store. It helps, so I'm not going to tell you NOT to buy that if you want to. But, mixing salt with warm water and swishing it around your mouth (aiming for the piercing) works well...

In the MLB and NFL, the umpire/referee leaves the field to watch the replay. I'm all for it if they can keep the scope of what they review to just goals. But based on the other sports that have recently implemented video review, they'll keep adding new stuff that needs to be reviewed.

Okay, except the whole point of it's awesomeness is that it was a throw, not a kick. You argue that you've seen plays just as effective before, you can't even show me a single one and your proof is "you've seen them before"....man I wish I used that during in-class debates.

Show me visual evidence of a throw that resulted in a quicker goal than that.
