Quarter final predictions anyone?

At this point in time:

Uruguay to beat South Korea
Argentina to beat Mexico

If Germany win Group D :

Germany to beat England
US to beat Serbia or Ghana

US vs Uruguay would be an interesting QF
Argentina vs Germany (or England) would also be a good QF I'd hope!

Thats is so true about the sponsers. It sometimes feels like the NFL cares more about the sponsers then the actual game.

I'm looking forward to following the next US game. Very much hoping they can move forward. After all, without two bad calls they'd have one another and had 2 goals today. Not a bad record for a relatively young football nation.

I was born in the US but raised in Scotland. For the life of me I can't understand how North Korea qualified but Scotland has not for how many years now? Would love to see Scotland in the next one. That's where my football heart lies.

That should be interesting enough, but frankly, I look forward to England-Germany even more. Neither have been terribly convincing so far, but Germany seems to be more functional as a team overall.

Its all about competition in your home region. There really aren't many solid teams in Asia or Oceania so teams like New Zealand and Korea make it on a regular basis. Also a French team had a lot of hands on help in making it though.
